Service Policy & Terms (SafeFireCheck)

  • Scope: Portable extinguisher inspection and related services performed to NFPA 10 and local code.
  • Pass/Fail: Units that fail are tagged OUT OF SERVICE. We’ll propose corrective options: recharge, six-year maintenance (ABC only), hydrostatic test (if due) plus recharge, or replacement.
  • Loaners: Available on request and subject to availability.
  • 12-Year Service: Hydrostatic test plus recharge. If the cylinder fails hydro, replacement is required; hydro fee still applies.
  • 6-Year Maintenance: Applies to ABC stored-pressure portables (not CO₂ or wheeled).
  • Pricing: Quotes are estimates until site conditions are verified. Parts and additional work (valves, hoses, pins, tags) may be added if needed for compliance. Taxes apply per state and local rules.
  • Trip/Travel: A trip fee applies; travel may be included in that line on your quote.
  • Scheduling: We schedule weekdays in a two-hour window (e.g., 10:00–12:00). If you need to reschedule, please reply to your confirmation email at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Payment: For first-time customers, a deposit may be required. Balance due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Re-inspection: If we must return solely to verify corrections, a re-inspection fee may apply.
  • Limitations: We warrant workmanship; we do not warrant manufacturer defects or damages due to misuse, environment, or inaccessible equipment. Compliance depends on maintaining units and correcting noted deficiencies.
  • Access & Safety: Customer to provide safe access to all equipment. We may decline service if conditions are unsafe.
